About
My professional background includes over 15 years experience working in theme park and business management. Several of these positions were held during the pre-opening development and operation for several of today’s leading destinations such as Walt Disney World - Disney Studios, Universal Studios Florida, Luxor Resort and Casino, Las Vegas, and the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex.
The opportunity to change careers and follow my dreams of becoming a visual effects artist presented itself and I jumped at the chance. I went back to college and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Game Design and Development in the fall of 2008. This past summer I graduated from the Digital Animation & Visual Effects School (where I am currently employed as a instructors assistant), which focuses
on 3D animation, compositing and
visual effects. I am excited to combine my artistic passions and managerial experience working within teams and have a positive impact in the film / digital media and simulation industry.
I am also currently the president of the Autistic Handicapped Children of Central Florida, which is a
non profit 501 (c) 3 organization that arranges an annual Holiday Season Party each year for about 1000 children with autism and varied physical and cognitive challenges. The party features horseback rides, supervised boat rides, lunch and a present from Santa, at no cost to the attendees.
